one for me… one for you

Now that Liam is 18 months old, he’s really started acting like a “big” brother and always wants to help.  His new thing is wanting to feed Nadia.  And I’m like, “What the heck?!”  Life is short… and messes can be cleaned up.  Here’s video of Liam’s first feeding experience.  Notice in the first clip, Liam dips the spoon in the jar, and the green stuff suddenly becomes irresistable!  So he spits his pacifier out and takes a bite!  His face says it all… green beans!!  Yuck!  But to be sure, he gives the spoon another lick before giving Nadia a bite.  Unfortunately for Nadia, there wasn’t anything left on the spoon!

Here’s another clip from the same feeding. It’s so funny… even though Liam doesn’t like what he’s tasting, he still takes a bite after every bite he gives his little sister!  “One for me… one for you!”  Nadia didn’t seem to mind.

THE FINISHED PRODUCT… not bad for an 18 month old’s first time feeding a 6 month old!

I am happy to announce… we have a pool… *with* a slide… in our backyard!  Don’t get too excited though… it’s above ground… and inflatable!  But to Liam it’s the coolest thing ever!  While Liam made trips up and down the slide, Nadia sat on the sidelines and sunbathed!

Although we live within walking distance to two parks, we still thought the kiddos would enjoy a swing set in their very own backyard.  Cheyenne set it up this weekend (5.31.08).  I think they like it!

1st tooth

                                                     

Nadia got her 1st tooth on the day this picture was taken (5.24.08).  I know you can’t see it, but it’s there, I promise! (on the bottom, middle, right).  This was also the same day Liam turned 18 months old.  It’s all happening so fast, I’m not sure what to think of it!!
